Sorry, VA, you have zero credibility; Yet we hope there will be some deliverance.
How about -- as if you are even listening -- using the research already amassed by credible 3rd party scholars. How about you actually determine any correlation between GW service and MS/MS-like symptoms as you were directed to in 2008. How about you stop denying GW vets' claims, despite the plethora of civilian dr.s' evidence often submitted in support. How about you require your staff not to treat GW vets as malingerers. How about you reward those minority of VA staff that try to do the right thing while trapped in a corrupt organizational structure. Until we see proactive and positive results at all VA Regional Ctr.s, your claims of improvement are at best diatribe and at worst lies and a betrayal of national trust.

John: I am sorry, Comrade. So many of us go through the same garbage, including me. Sadly, while it is helpful for us to vent, the VA won't even read, let alone act on any of our sage suggestions. Instead, they will report back to Congress their 'new' approach, which has zero improvement, and that they 'actively engaged GW veterans in addressing the matter.' It's spin and a game of cost-benefit-analysis to wait until enough of us are dead.
I would not wish any of the VA workers the ills that we suffer, despite their obvious contempt for us. What we need is legislation with possible criminal/civil sanctions to force them to do their jobs properly. Right now, they address backlog in most cases by simply giving us ridiculously low and 0% faster...

The max I can give this is 3 votes. You got them! I get emails and letters saying how the VA has recognized GWS and I need to start going back to the VA because they are actually helping Vets now. I go back and I get the same run around. I have to drive 150 miles round trip, the time I waste sitting in my car and waiting room for a 10-15 minute "visit" with the VA doc is laughable.
