Make C-file available to Vets and Follow Ttitle 38 rule WHEN IN DOUBT SIDE WITH VET
Make C-file available to Vets and follow Title 38 rule WHEN IN DOUBT SIDE WITH VET. The garbage I read in my C-file opened my eyes and gave me a clear picture of why my claim stalled. Most of the notes were false or half missing (the parts that support my case). If I didn't know my case I would say I was reading somebody else's C-file.

Ever since 1990, after receiving a tainted vaccine, I have suffered. I won't detail as we all have the same story. Served 18 years and had to just up and walk away otherwise I would have certainly died. Only now in this year of 2013 have all the dots connected and I know what is wrong. I NEED to connect with others outside of blogs. I hate blogs. If anyone here would care to, my address:

Every Vet should go to records and request a copy of his records after every visit and every lab. Make more than one copy in case it is lost or stolen and place them in different locations. Doctors do not write everything down and do it incorrectly. If it is incorrect you need to write a letter for your file and you take it to records and request it be put in at your VA. This is so very important! I think it is important to take a copy of what you experience when you go to your doctor and place it in your file while there. It would be nice if you could email your doctor with it prior to your appointment and they would have time to read it and could cut and paste it onto your computer file. So very important for GWI Vets to have it in there file to help with disability compensation and it makes for a good journal and someday it may be important to someone other than the Veteran.

The delays are BS. How many get treated is BS. Things need to be done professionally and the VA held responsible for the mistakes they make.

I have a copy of my C-File most of the pages have been stamped n 2 inch letters not to be copied. Most if the pages were very light and difficult to read. As with anyy record and I have seen it in my C-File during exams the yellow sticky note which is also a legal document whn it is placed in the C-file many are taken out anf thrown away. If a civilian firm were to do this sued every which way but Sunday. VA need to stp playing games with peoples lives!

Attention TASK FORCE This message is for you. Veterans seek treatment for conditions told nothing is wrong with us even if we are sick. Often told idiopathic or may be viral. Let me set the record straight I was in excellent physical condition before my military service in Gulf. Yes I could do it all run, push up, setups anything... overall well rounded solider.
And for those who wonder yes I had High Pt scores consistently 295 above that is when the test were structured differently . An example someone in their 20'sr had to run less than 12 min in run to get 100 points in that area .I have 9 siblings who have minor health problems and out of everyone I was always the healthiest as a child and adult until my military service. By the way I also one of few whom took active interest in staying healthy. Now fast forward today i have chronic health issues with no comorbidities except those after my military service. Stark contrast from then to know. Let me list a few conditions cardiac, gastrointestinal, neurological, and musculoskeletal. All this begin at a young age with no history of smoking, drinking or drug use. So let me tell you people first hand after I became ill enough to be hospitalized several times nearly dieing would VHA even believe I had a problem. Then for them to only tell me they don't know why. Do you think this is good enough evidence for VBA acknowledge GWI exist with me? No it was not even if had many years of chroncity some even presumptive conditions.
I think not since I am only service connected for one condition so far.And must wait until someone follows the law and regulations properly and get fair claim adjudication. But let me tell you how my life has been since this GW illness hit me. My quality of life suffers significantly not only did I lose my home because I could not work but everything I owned. Do you think anybody cares? What is the purpose of these 30 day periods are you actually going to do something to help veterans? Why don't you go to the VBA regional offices and get them to follow the presumptive rules for GWI the training letters and the fast letters. Instead delay delay delay and make veteran appeal right. Yes you can appeal what about all those years your living in poverty waiting for someone to put the pieces of the puzzle together while your children go without. Yes VA pays back pay how in the hell does that help when your child has birthday or Christmas time is here. The back pay will not make us better, compensation years latter will not get our homes back. The list goes on and on. That is why I call all this smoke and mirrors. Do something for us please. I have always been patriotic but this foolishness with claims process is ridiculous. I can be reached at us_vet@yahoo.com if you like specifics and some additional suggestions.

I know a lot of medical people that will not go to the VA. That being said, I am medically retired due to the symptoms of GWI and have been IGNORED by medical staff because of the dx PTSD/depression (who wouldn't be depressed about the lies and coverups, quality of life)CFS, Fibromyalgia, etc. I believe that those of us that were exposed to the chemicals need to be taken seriously, it is NOT in our heads. We have real neurological problems.....please HELP us!! Change the dx codes so the Dr.s know, we should not have to train them, get them UP TO DATE ON GWI.......

The VA's model for soldier recovery won't work for modern warfare. Outdated, underfunded..the newer generation understands this, they refuse to become willing victims to a presidential panel in denial.

AngryVET - great idea. Let's hope it works for future troops. I know my faith was lost years ago.
I will no longer believe my gov't. on much of anything. Sorry to say, I should've joined the Foreign Legion instead.
