Review Gulf war veterans Children/Spouses for possible defects due to GWI.
This was also a lost cause, the VA could not identify the veterans who where exposed. Do we really believe you checked our love one's. We the malingerers (As we have been referred to in the past) who have ,joint pain's,abnormal lab reading's, gained weight, lost weight, IBS,ALS,diabetic, Dypsnea, sleep apneas, PTSD,fibro,MS,spasms, arthritis, bone spurs and a host of other issues are tired of the BS. Justice for all. “To care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his
widow, and his orphan,”

I have a daughter with my ex-husband who was a Desert Storm vet (USN). She was born in 1996, he was discharged in 93.
He also has another child who was born years later. Both kids have upper palate malformations. My daughter has suffered from migraines, chronic fatigue, random and unexplained skin rashes.
We are very lucky compared to some.

My son was born with Muscular Dystrophy, as a mother usually carries the gene and passes it to her son. No one in my wife's family has a son born with this for a hundred years of memory. So the second conclusion from the neurologist is spontaneous mutation. He is 18 now and completely immobile.

My husband served as a Marine in Desert Shield/Storm. He has barely spoken of his experiences while over there. We have 2 sons, one born in '96 the other in '99. Our oldest is ID (intellectual Disability), dyspraxia, receptive and expressive language disorder, has had numerous therapist from speech, physical therapy, occupational therapy, etc. Our youngest is also ID and is on the spectrum ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), with several of the other issues his older brother has. I have had them both genetically tested and those test show nothing abnormal. My husband has had a few health issues but is reluctant to seek out the cause. It is heart breaking watching my children grow and not have the ability to function in society on their own. Our fear is, who will care for them when we are no longer able to? We are wondering if what my husband was exposed to could be the cause of their disabilities, and if there are any other parents out there who are struggling with similar issues, any additional input or sharing of experiences would be welcomed.

I was in the British Army and an a Vet from the first Gulf war, I have 3 sons, my first was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes at the age of 18mths, from the age of about 10 stopped growing due to being growth hormone deficient, he was finally diagnosed as celiac, he is also Lactose intolerant.
my middle son is okay, however my youngest son is none celiac gluten sensitive, lactose intolerant and has tracheobronchial malacia, and is too ill to attend school.
I have for years thought that we cant just be that unlucky, but as the majority of the guys I served with have healthy children I thought perhaps I'm just trying to find some or something to blame.
but the similarities here are too much of a coincidence!

My sister and her husband are both Gulf War veterans. Both sons have had health issues one diagnosed with ADHD and growth hormone deficiency and my other nephew suffered with gastrointestinal issue. First doctor claimed he was hypochondriac with anxiety issues. So she took him to another doctor and he diagnosed him with Celiacs Disease and by then so much damage was done to the intestines which had to be removed he almost died. I would persist and find what is wrong don't give up EVER!!!

Advice please?
My daughter has been having problems whit her stomach for five to six years she's now 13. The pediatration has blown it off for years an wanted to put her on anxiety mends. I'm a naval corps and finally stopped taking to her to her pediatric Doctor. Just for the fact he thinks everything is anxiety. I made an appointment with a gastroenterologist she took an X-Ray and wanted her to do a GI prep. The X-Ray showed extended bowels. I ask for a swollowing study and the doctor refused. Just like her pediatration.. After the GI prep her colon was still distended and she can only eat a part less then half of a fast food burger and she is full. I told both doctors this and they blew it off as anxiety. I asked for a upper Gi a lower gi and again a swollowing study. Because I have treated patients with this same problems. Her intestines were so linflaimed and distended food couldn't get out of her stomach. Finally after many years the pain has increased to the point of tears. The swollowing was positive showing only 25% of what ever she eats leaves her stomach in four hours. By then it should be empty. So the diagnosis of gastroenteritis was given. I'm a two tour corpsman with the marines in desert shield / Storm and Iraq .. I have read your alls post and did research finding this could be related to my my gulf war syndrome I'm 100% disabled because of all the problems I'm having. How do I inquire at the va and what if anything will they do? -

I'm the mom of a Desert Storm baby too. My ex-husband deployed in Sept 90 and our son was born in early Jan 93. He has congenital heart disease (4 different issues that were corrected with open heart surgery at 7 days old) and had to have a stent put in a couple years ago. He did not have any other birth defects but has had chronic health conditions from the vaccinations his dad, myself (also a non-deployed veteran) and his own vaccines. These vaccines are destroying their health.
I've been studying these things for the last 23 years. I have included a few links for you below that you may or may not have seen before. I also will include below information on a doctor that may be able to help your son. He is one of the top doctor's in the country and has reversed autism and severe chronic and deadly diseases and I think he may be able to help him at least improve his quality of life by reducing the toxic chemicals and heavy metals in his body.

https://www.drbuttar.com/Also, I was very sick after Desert Storm but don't know if it is partially from my ex-husband or my own vaccines and toxic drugs they gave me along with an unhealthy diet. I have since changed my diet and lifestyle to only use natural substances with organic foods and supplements, herbs, spices, therapeutic grade essential oils and homeopathy, which are all non-toxic to the body. Detoxing is extremely important to get these toxic substances out of the body. So paying attention to everything you put in and on your body and cleaning products.
I hope you will find this information very helpful.
Blessings to you and your family!

this is the wierdest thing to read about this. My parents were both in the gulf war, and I was born in 1991 with physical deformities, I was born with missing bones in my lower legs and in my toes.

I have been looking everywhere to see if children and spouses of Gulf War Vets are even being acknowledged. My husband was over there in 1991. We have had 12 children. Our oldest has a bone spur on her calf, another child has issues with the muscles in one of his arms. Last year we lost a child due to issues with her gastrointestinal system, she was on TPN for most of her life. Also, a few of our sons have had Inguinal Hernias. There are several other issues that we have seen in our children and I am wondering if other GW children are experiencing any of the same symptoms.
Maybe now that Trump is in office we should get as many parents together so we can go to congress with these issues. Any thoughts? -

I finally went to my local VA as I'm getting up in years and wanted to be in their files. At the orientation, the guy who held court the first words out of his mouth were "If anyone here even set FOOT in Vietnam, please let us know" Nothing was said about the Gulf War.
After watching Beyond Treason I am BEYOND incensed !!

My ex-husband is a Gulf war Vet and he has suffered numerous unexplained health issues since his return in 1992 we had three Children one of which was born in 1995 and died at birth and no one has ever really been able to give us a reasonable explanation as to why? Our son was born in 1996 and has suffered numerous health issues. Really since birth, but his problems have gotten more severe and complicated as time goes by. He suffers from chronic severe persistent asthma, migraine headaches, Gastroparesis, GERD, peptic ulcer disease, chronic obstructive sleep apnea, chronic back pain, and most recently IBS with constipation, chronic bronchitis, lymphocytosis, chronic swollen lymph nodes on his neck and armpits, spinal degenerative arthritis, chronic fatigue, he has cysts in his lungs and his lumbar region, and he suffers from recurrent infections and in addition to the back pain his muscle and joint pain of unknown origin. He has become so debilalted that he is no longer able to attend school and can barely work. Over the last 14 months he has gone from working and going to school full time to only being able to work one day a week and that one day of week that he does work takes him three to four days to recover from. The doctors don't have any answers and they have literally run every test on him known to man and they still don't know what's wrong with him. Now they are trying to get him into a rheumatologist to evaluate him for possible chronic fatigue syndrome. I feel so sorry for him and I am running out of ways to help him. He is barley 20 years old and has such a low quality of life. If anyone is experiencing any of the same things or has any ideas please feel free to contact me.jonesmjanie@yahoo.com

Not sure were to turn for help... my husband served in the USMC from 1991-2011 with deployments to the Gulf. I'm the son of a Gulf War Veteran and I believe I may have some health issues that have been genetically passed down after his service. I was born in 1993 and have been watching doctors scratch their heads at me for years now. If you are in the same boat as me, please email me at loserkid16@gmail.com.
Thank you
