How about adding anyone who worked around equipment from the Persian Gulf War to the Persian Gulf Registry
VA needs to include anyone that was not in the Gulf who worked around equipment used in the Gulf War (Reserves used equipment) to the Gulf Registry and if have symptoms of Gulf War Syndrome to be compensated. I worked around equipment at my Reserve unit that was used in the Gulf War and have many exact same things that Gulf War Syndrome Vets have. The Reserves kept the equipment that was in Kuwait and Saudi and just kept repairing it even though it was contaminated.

While Active duty I performed custom duty on returning military aircraft and military equipment returning from the Gulf War. The military said "it was decontaminated" before returning to the US. I can tell you it was NOT!. I have multiple symptoms associated with GWI and have tried to be put on the Gulf War Registry and have filed several Va claims citing cross contamination but all have been denied as i was not "in -country"! I recently found where the did approve Vietnam Era Vets approval for cross contamination of Agent Orange from air craft from 1969-1986 and they even found a C-123 Air Craft from 1969 that had agent orange residue in 2009! so I KNOW cross contamination is possible. Has anyone else ran across any data or reports that would support cross contamination or that did customs on returning military equipment? Thanks!
