reform the C&P exams
If a specialist from the V.A. (I have had 3 Rheumatologists) agree on a diagnosis, Don't let the C&P examiner who is not a specialist in the field of the ailment, deny the claim. I am sure the specialists who are trained in the field of the ailment can properly diagnose it!

I watched the recent testimonies to congress made by various VSO's, VFW, DAV, ect...and one problem kept being bought up was train the raters on GW
Veterans. They proposed a few things to get them to recognize and follow laws already passed by Congress....is it me or am I missing something..they are right there, representing us...why do they sit there and let it happen? What do they do for Veterans really?

This is an ongoing issue. I discovered during one of my exams that the claims specialist had no previous medical training.

They are there to deny the claim, PERIOD. The Duty to Assist is a bunch of crap and Congress needs to allow video cameras or allow veterans video record the C&P exams. If the VA is so certain that the C&P examiners are doing their jobs properly then why not allow video cameras?

C&P exams and examiners should reflect some knowledge and education to the track record of what other vets have been diagnosed with - esp the early detection of ALS, lymphnode problems, the key note unusal lump in neck, rashs, early chances of stroke in hyperthalmus area of brain - just a few I've been through that were not included in exams to include protocol list
