    My mother and I are both Gulf War Vets and we both have been diagnosed with diabetes with no other family history!

    I'm glad I came on here. Many of you are describing what I've been experiencing. Sleep apnea, gastro-intestinal problems, diabetes, joint pain especially shoulders and neck and chronic sinusitis. I was in Iraq and Kuwait City on MSR Red in 1991. Traveled through the oil fields and was stuck on an Iraqi minefield for 2 weeks. What should also be linked is the pesticides and the anti-anthrax injections that we were given prior to going into Kuwait, for the fear that Saddam would use chemical weapons. These injections ended up being undocumented in many medical records.
