Hi I am a mother of six my ex husband served in the gulf war in 1990 91. My daughter was conceived before he left and had mild asthma. My second son born 1993 had spinabifita Cumba where there is a space in the lower back. My twins both had asthma and later on dyslexia and dysplasia both now young adults have anxiety. They were born in 1995 . In 1996 I had my daughter who was three weeks early had muscles tone problems scoliosis failure to thrive to name a few problems. Now she is a young adult and has depression and sluggish complex temporal a sleep disorder. My youngest son was born in 1998 at 30 weeks he was five pound was in special care for nine weeks ventilator for three weeks. Brian bleed. Pneumonia twice. Had three transfusions. He is now a young adult. He had no speech till seven has dyspraxia dyslexia scoliocis asthma epilepsy to name a few problems. All my children had problems with feeding and speech though I breastfeed all of them till over a year.I would just like information on what is going on with others experiences too. My kids are grown up now but it has been along road as a single parent of six. I am lucky that four are independent and it is just the two youngest that need support now, any advice or comments gratefully received.
